What Would You do, if You Were BU?

Beep. Beep. BEEP.
Bu jerks forward. His right foot lands on the right pedal, he accelerates. Today he was happy. It was his 17th birthday but that wasn’t the reason for that bright smile. Today he could have something sweet and not have to worry about any allergic reactions. He could consume as much frosting as he pleased. A cake made entirely of classic frosting; a gift and a curse. He’ll never know what the chocolate cake his little brother gets tastes like. Why? Oh why did he have to fight this allergic reaction alone. Because it’s not limited to his brother’s chocolate cakes. Mostly every sweet out there is made with the same substance that nearly caused his inflammatory death several years ago. But no more! No more will he think of these things that haunt him. His frosting cake awaits him; his smile is already forming.
