Interview Questions

1.      What are curious about seeing  on the food justice blog?

2.      Are you  serious about food justice or will you  go home later and eat a pesticide burger?

3.      How/Why did you get interested in food justice?

4.      How do you feel about the cows, chickens, and pigs being injected with grows hormones?

5.      What is the first thing you think of when you hear “Food Justice”?

  1. 1. I would like to see more about the environmental impact of our food choices and how that plays into food justice. Specifically, I'd be more interested in learning about what we at UB can do to help the environment.

    2. I believe I am serious about food justice issues although often price informs my decisions.

    3. After watching Food, Inc., I became interested in food justice.

    4. Although we don't fully know the health impact on humans, I believe it's artificial to use growth hormones. We should be exploring other options to feed people.

    6. I became a vegetarian for other reasons but I am staying one in large part because of food justice and environmental issues. I also tend to consider where I buy my food from whenever I can.

    7. In the community, I think I can talk about my food choices and encourage movies/reading material/events etc. They can be really powerful. I also think it's worthwhile to see farms in action.

    8. For the world, I think it's just taking the community piece to a larger scale. And advocating politically.
